Increasing Your Distance

If one of your resolutions for 2011 was to increase your distance, be sure to do it with the right goal in mind. Especially if you’re training for a race, you need to be careful not to increase the mileage too fast. You may be increasing from 3 to 6 miles, which in the grand scheme of things isn’t too much of a jump, but no matter what miles you run, doubling your distance is a big deal! Mentally as well as physically.
